It's tough for Australia to break new ground.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a side that has accomplished all there is.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batters to possess a record if not afforded the opportunity.

She got to fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was removed the team required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this World Cup want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will win from any position has only strengthened - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they were eliminated from the prior year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.
